The revised version of our manuscript on the effects on corticothalamic feedback on dLGN spatial integration is out on bioRxiv. The most significant change is new triple-color tracing of the retinotopic organization of CT feedback in dLGN and visTRN.

We are funded for another 3 years to continue our collaboration with Tatjana Tchumatchenko and embark to new experiment-modelling interactions under the framework of the SPP2041 “Computational Connectomics”.
We are very happy that we received funding for 4 more years to continue our projects in the SFB1233 on “Natural stimuli for mice” and “Feedforward and feedback processing in visual thalamus” together with Thomas Euler, Philipp Berens, and Matthias Bethge at the University of Tübingen. Thanks to our reviewers and thanks to the DFG for funding.
Over the summer, we have revised our manuscript on “Robust effects of corticothalamic feedback during naturalistic visual stimulation”. It now includes specific optogenetic suppression of V1 CT neurons using stGtACR2 and many new analyses.
